Worship Ministry Intern

Overview

North Roanoke Baptist Church takes seriously the Bible’s emphasis on passing along the gospel to the next generation not only by faithfully proclaiming the gospel but also by equipping them for service in the church. While all forms of service in the church are important, the North Roanoke Ministry Internship Program is intended to give individuals firsthand experience in leading core ministries which are on the leading edge of reaching the lost and discipling the church. Interns will gain experience working with the individual responsible for the primary ministry area of their internship (i.e. kid’s ministry, student ministry, worship ministry) as well as the lead pastor. This internship is ideal for college students seeking purpose and practical application in a church ministry setting.

North Roanoke Worship Ministry is focused on facilitating the people’s song as we lift up the name of Christ in one unified voice of praise. We seek to choose and lead songs that are theologically rich, musically accessible to all church members, and varied in style/composition date. We understand what we sing often becomes what we believe, so the doctrine contained within our songs is of the utmost importance.
