Associate Pastor

Harmony Baptist Church of Monroe, Georgia is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor. We are a growing multi-generational church in Northeast Central Georgia, not far from Athens and Atlanta.  We currently have an average service attendance of 175 and growing; our region is one of the fastest growing residential areas in the state!  This position requires assisting the pastor in the various ministries of the church.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

 Calling & Education

  • Called and Gifted by God to serve as a Pastor
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher from a Bible college or seminary

 

Experience & Desired Skills

  • Ministry experience required
  • Experience in planning music for services and leading worship preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with ProPresenter and Planning Center
  • Able to use and communicate through modern platforms such as email, text, Microsoft, and Google programs.

 

Personal Walk

  • Profess and have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior
  • Affirm the Bible and agree with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000)
