Internship Opportunity: Renew Church OC Intern
Overview
Renew Church OC (RenewChurchOC.com) is a multi-cultural family of God participating in Jesus’ mission of renewing our city and beyond through the power of the Spirit. For those considering a future in ministry, this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning directly from pastors and ministry leaders within our community. Core Responsibilities
- Ministry Support: Support the operations and creative execution of various church ministries, specializing in the “ministry track” (below) designated to you. Assist in “all hands”/ church-wide events and initiatives.
- Leadership Development: Receive personal and ministry development from our pastoral staff and church ministry leaders. Participate in ministry evaluations and leadership shadowing to understand the "under the hood" operations of Renew Church OC.
- Community Engagement: Help foster a culture of connection and belonging within the congregation while also engaging the campuses and non-profits in our city to best serve those around us.
- Seasonal Support: Provide additional assistance during "seasonal pushes" and major church events as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Faith Commitment: Must be a mature believer with a heart for ministry and desire to learn and grow.
- Theological Alignment: Full agreement with the EFCA Statement of Faith.
- Ethical Standards: Adherence to the standards outlined in the Renew Ethics Document (included in application).
- Church Involvement: Active participation in church life as a member (outside of intern responsibilities).
- Vetting: Completion of child safety vetting and training is required prior to starting.
Commitment & Compensation
Monthly Stipend
$750 per month
Expected Hours
15 hours per week (standard rhythm)
Flexibility
Additional hours expected during seasonal pushes
