• Coordinates with the Executive Pastor and other ministry leads to forecast childcare needs for the church calendar in advance.
• Extends the same safety policies, screening, and training standards used for Kingdom Kids Sundays to all church-wide event childcare.
• Communicates childcare availability and sign-up details clearly to staff and families ahead of each event.
5. Family Engagement and Care
• Is a hospitable presence on Sunday mornings during drop-off and pick-up, actively greeting and encouraging volunteers, children, and parents, and learning names.
• Regularly communicates with parents and guardians to encourage them and inform them of upcoming events, curriculum, ministry needs, and helpful resources.

• Runs hands-on kids' activities at these events — including games, face painting, crafts, and other fun, family-friendly stations — as a welcoming front door for families who may not yet know Avenue Church.
• Recruits, trains, and schedules volunteers to staff outreach booths and activities alongside the Director.
• Partners with church leadership and staff to identify outreach opportunities that build community and connect new families to The Avenue Church.
