As an Outreach Intern, you will assist Real Life’s Outreach Director by helping to encourage, equip, and empower Real Life members seeking to help others in our community, state, country, and around the world. Real Life has a discipleship pathway which encourages believers to Live on Mission, and the Outreach program equips people to grow in love and knowledge to support God’s family, and empowers Christians to go help real people through acts of service. This internship will equip you with the experience needed to lead a ministry which partners with other organizations to provide outreach opportunities to the church family. The experience is intended to give you opportunities which help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.
Basic Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement

- Eager to meet new people and build relationships
- Speaking to small groups about the Outreach program and its opportunities

- Complete agreed-upon Learning Objectives
Responsibilities:
- Assist Outreach Director with meetings and projects.
- Engage & develop people to involve them in the church's Outreach Program.
- Help people grow and mature in their faith to be prepared to Live on Mission.
- Learn how to recruit and train new team members
- Determine ways to evaluate ministry effectiveness and appreciate team members.
Expect to be on the Real Life campus (1501 Steves Road, Clermont, FL 34711) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week.
Typical hours for most positions would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10-15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with notice.
The internship is 12 weeks long from Sunday January 31st - Thursday April 22nd. No spring break is built into the schedule, but can be discussed with the team.
Salary: $150.00 per week.
