Youth Minister (Part-Time)

Image Church is a growing, multi-generational church in Cypress, Texas, committed to Making Disciples and Building Families. We are seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Youth Minister to lead and disciple our middle and high school students.
This is more than a Sunday role—we’re looking for a shepherd who will invest in students, partner with parents, develop leaders, and help cultivate a thriving student ministry.
Recent Bible college graduates, seminary students, and emerging ministry leaders with youth ministry experience are encouraged to apply.
Position Details
- Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
- On-site in Cypress, TX
- Sundays required
- Midweek student gathering required
- Some evenings and weekend events
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly youth services and midweek student gatherings
- Prepare and teach biblically sound, engaging messages for middle and high school students
- Build meaningful relationships with students and their families
- Recruit, train, and develop adult volunteers and student leaders
- Plan youth events, retreats, outreach opportunities, and summer camp
- Partner with parents to support the spiritual growth of their students
- Manage ministry communications, Planning Center workflows, and the youth ministry calendar
- Work collaboratively with church staff and ministry leaders to advance the mission of Image Church
Qualifications
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Alignment with the mission, vision, and leadership culture of Image Church
- Previous experience serving in youth ministry, student ministry, education, coaching, or mentoring (paid or volunteer)
- Strong teaching, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to build authentic relationships with students and families
- Experience recruiting and leading volunteers is preferred
- Familiarity with Planning Center or similar church management software is a plus
