South Holly Church is a Christian church in Centennial, Colorado, committed to practicing the way of Jesus where we live, work, play, and worship.  

Our vision is to become a healthy church that helps other churches become healthy. Our mission is to make disciples who make disciple-makers and raise leaders who multiply leaders. 

God is leading South Holly through one of the most exciting seasons in the church’s 75 year history. Attendance has grown from a handleful of congregants in 2020 to an average Sunday attendance of 170 and we believe God is preparing us for more.

Role Overview

The Worship Director will lead and develop South Holly's worship ministry, cultivating an environment where the congregation encounters God through Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. 

The Worship Director will recruit and manage a team of servants. Moving those who come with a consumer mindset, to those who contend for the faith.

Key Responsibilities

Worship Leadership

• Lead Sunday morning worship gatherings with excellence, authenticity, and enthusiasm.
• Prepare setlists and packages that reflect Christ's pattern of prayer - Upward, Downward, Inward and Outward. 
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure alignment between worship and preaching each week.
• Help strengthen online ministry, audio quality, and production systems
• Expected to conduct rehearsal either mid-week or Sunday morning. 

Team Development

• Recruit, develop, and disciple servant musicians, vocalists, and tech team members.
• Prioritize prayer in rehearsals, pre-service meetings, and stage worship. 
• Identify and raise up future worship leaders in keeping with our mission to raise leaders who multiply leaders.

Ministry Integration

• Participate actively in the life of the church — small groups, church events, staff events.
• Required to attend weekly staff meetings, staff prayer, and service sync with lead pastor. 

Qualifications

Required

• Committed to a life of discipleship after Jesus. 
• Passion for discipling and empowering others. 
• Proficiency in vocals.
• Alignment with South Holly's values, vision, mission, and Statement of Beliefs.

Preferred

• Experience leading a worship team. 
• Experience with Planning Center and/or Subsplash.
• Familiarity with live production (sound, ProPresenter, livestream).

Position Details

• Part-time: 15 hours/week.
• $25-$30/hour
