Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Development and Outreach and plays a key supporting role in advancing the fundraising and relationship-building efforts of Harbor Day School. This position requires a positive attitude, a willing heart, and a servant’s mindset, rooted in a love for God and a
passion for the mission of Harbor Day School.
The Development Coordinator assists the Director of Development with grant research, donor data management, and stewardship efforts. This individual is responsible for accurate and timely donor data entry, managing donor relationships—including monthly donors, third-party fundraising organizations, and the Youth Advisory Board—and helping ensure strong communication and engagement across all donor segments. The Development Coordinator also supports fundraising events and campaigns by tracking budgets, maintaining records, and assisting with planning and execution.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Development Coordinator must demonstrate professionalism, discretion with confidential information, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They should be collaborative, dependable, and motivated to support the overall success of the Development
team.
