PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide direction for media expressions to enhance worship and communication to encourage the church through stories of Gospel transformation.
REPORTS TO: Pastor of Worship and Groups
CLASSIFICATION: , ideally, to raise our Part-Time (Non-Exempt).

Ideal PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Chemistry- Must demonstrate the ability to work well with the church staff and volunteer leaders to accomplish the work of the ministry.
- Computer skills should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as creative editing software comparable to Final Cut Pro or Adobe Suite.
- Takes responsibility for projects and manages timelines well.
- Strong organizational skills for project management and storing captured material.
- A recognized “artistic eye” for layout and graphic design is desired not only for consistency but ideally to improve our level of aesthetic excellence.
- Ability to recruit, train, and empower volunteers—delegating responsibilities.
- Experience managing volunteers in a church environment.
- Ability to edit media with excellence and communicate realistic expectations to ministry leaders.
- Humbly receives feedback to enhance communication using media.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities related to this position are at the discretion of the Executive Team.
- Responsible for all recorded media. Including service videos, website videos, live stream services, photography, etc.
- Identify, coordinate, and capture testimonies of Gospel transformation.
- Oversee and manage Crossroads Church’s website, including its appearance, content, and functionality.
- Create content and edit social media posts for Crossroads Church.
- Schedule and supervise volunteers in areas of oversight.
- Work with the service planning team to create holistic God-honoring services that reflect the vision frame of Crossroads Church.
- Ensure video tech equipment is operational for our church's needs.
- Solicit feedback and develop goals for utilizing media intentionally.
- Champion the use of media in all ministry contexts of Crossroads Church.
- Recruit and train videographers, photographers, and editor team members.
- Provide media support for special events upon request.
- Responsible for the departmental budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary and Benefits:
- Pay is based upon a pay matrix according to experience and position.
- Mileage reimbursement is to be made whenever a personal vehicle is used to accomplish any church-related task.
- All church-related conferences and/or training programs approved by the Executive Team will be paid for by the church.
