Summer Ministry Intern
We are a historical church in the suburban town of Hammonton, New Jersey within reach of several nearby cities, by car and train, including Philadelphia and Atlantic City. This internship is a unique opportunity to live and minister in a suburban setting in a predominantly Hispanic and Italian community. The church has a history of dedication to supporting and growing alongside new ministers.
Interns will primarily focus on engaging with other non-profits to meet the needs of the summer migrant population. This will include scheduling visits to bring supplies to workers in the fields as well as health clinics.
If desired (but no required), the intern is invited to participate and lead in other ways, such as teaching, visitations, preaching, study, and meeting leadership.
Each week, the intern will meet with their supervisor and will meet biweekly with an intern support team to assist with personal identity development.
While not required, proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Remote work can be negotiated.
