Faith Baptist Church, an Unaffiliated Baptist congregation in Montgomery, New York, is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor to lead our growing youth ministry and support our small Christian school (Faith Baptist Academy).
About Us
We are a warm, inviting church family that has served the Hudson Valley community for over 60 years. In 2025, our Sunday morning worship services averaged about 135 attendees. Despite current facility limitations, we are experiencing steady growth and positive momentum. In 2026, we will renovate our auditorium to maximize space and accommodate further expansion.

Position Overview
The Youth Pastor will primarily focus on ministering to teenagers while also teaching classes in our small Christian school as needed. This role requires a passionate, called individual who loves discipling young people and building biblical relationships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly youth group meetings on Wednesday nights (Action Youth Ministry).
• Teach teen Sunday School classes.
• Plan and lead youth activities and attend youth camps.
• Preach and conduct Junior Church on Sunday mornings.
• Develop, implement, and oversee innovative ideas for youth ministry growth.
• Disciple teenagers through organic, personal relationships.
• Teach classes in Faith Baptist Academy as needed.
• Flexibility to support secondary roles across church ministries.
Preferred Skills:
• Expertise with audio/visual equipment.
• Ability to sing or play musical instruments.
• Occasional preaching in adult worship services and other scenarios.
Qualifications
Required:
• Male candidate.
• Graduate of a Bible college.
• Baptistic in Theology.
• Clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ.
• Life that exemplifies the pastoral qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
• Flexibility to take on additional tasks and work independently to achieve goals.
• Must successfully pass criminal, driving, and credit background checks.
• Commitment to adhere to all child safety policies.

Compensation:
• 30K per year
• Parsonage housing with all utility expenses paid
