Worship Director
WORSHIP DIRECTOR – Part-Time
West Seattle Christian Church | 4400 42nd Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116
West Seattle Christian Church seeks a passionate Worship Director to craft and lead engaging worship services. This role fosters a thriving worship culture, develops servant musicians and ministers, and collaborates with our staff team to advance our church's vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead worship on stage for 95% of all services, including Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas Eve
- Plan and execute worship sets for weekend services and special events
- Manage rehearsals and scheduling of core volunteer worship teams
- Oversee skills development and spiritual formation of musicians, vocalists, and technicians
- Support the vision and direction of the Lead Pastor and Leadership Team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Certification in Worship, current enrollment in related program, or comparable experience
- Minimum 1 year experience leading worship and managing teams
- Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Apple Software, Microsoft Office, Google Suites, ProPresenter, Planning Center Online
- Knowledge of video production, live-streaming technology, and audio engineering
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
