Female Church Intern

Job Title: Female Church Intern - Youth & Children's Ministries

Reports to: Youth & Family & Children’s Ministers

(David Rollins & Chelsea Jones- Briscoe)

Position Summary:

Join us as a Church Intern and help create fun, engaging events for kids and youth!

Working with our team, you'll focus on building relationships, discipleship, and

community outreach. This is a perfect summer opportunity to grow your ministry skills.

We're flexible with start/end dates and offer housing. We'd love to hear from you!

Qualifications:

• A committed Christian with a demonstrated faith and a desire to serve.

• Displays the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Creative and analytical skills are welcome.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

• Female candidate preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with youth using relational ministry strategies.

• Find memes for the youth minister.

• Assist with Youth and Children’s summer camp sessions

• Assist with Camp Oak Ridge (Wednesday intergenerational gatherings)

• Prepare and deliver weekly teaching sessions for teens or children.

• Assist with June Camp VBS for the community. (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

• Help Children’s minister find her keys.

• Take pictures to document the summer fun.

• Assist with Amplify: VBS for individuals with disabilities.

Onboarding/Training:

• 3-5 pre-summer training sessions will be provided to ensure a smooth transition

into the role.

Additional Notes:

• This is a Full-time internship.

• Hours per week: Average 40hrs. (we are on call during camp)

• Compensation: TBD after January Actuals

• Open communication is highly encouraged
