Overnight Camp Counselor
- Provide care and supervision for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Provide care and supervision for children of diverse ages and backgrounds, including those in foster care
- Adhere to program standards, camp policies, and procedures including risk management policies
- Serve as a Christian role model to all those in your care – lead small and large group prayers, and Bible Studies and participate in worship services
- Interpersonal skills - Build/maintain positive relationships with campers/staff
- Manage conflict between campers and re-direct challenging behaviors – positively refocus and de-escalate homesickness, anger and frustration
- Participate in daily activities like swimming and sports, and support campers in doing the same
