Youth Minister/Director 

Job description

The Assistant Youth Director will serve in all aspects of ministry with middle and high school aged youth, both already connected to our church and within our community, with the mission of growing a ministry that, in partnership with families, nurtures faith in Christ and love for His church.

Youth Ministries:

a) Under direction of the Pastor, develop and execute a ministry that nurtures faith in Christ and love for His church among youth in our church and within our community.

b) Weekly presence at youth-related programming (e.g. Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, special events).

c) As directed by the Pastor, assist in recruiting and empowering lay leaders and volunteers for appropriate discipleship, supervision, and support of youth and youth events.

d) Regular and appropriate relational presence in the lives of our youth and their families.

e) Demonstrate a living faith in Jesus Christ.

c) Weekly presence and eager participation at Sunday worship, as well as occasional worship leadership (e.g. Prayer or Scripture reader).

FBC Woodlawn, TN is a wonderful, Spirit filled, body of believers in a rural community just outside of the rapidly expanding City of Clarksville. I have been the Pastor here since 2018 and hope to be for many years to come. We are a growing church with vibrant ministries for all ages. This is a part-time position with room to grow. Job Type: Part-time (12hrs per week)

Pay: Housing Plus Expenses (4 bedroom home next to the church)

Work Location: In person (Woodlawn, TN 37191)
