Rector Position

Church of the Resurrection in Los Angeles is looking for its next rector.

We’re seeking a part-time or full-time candidate with an understanding and reverence for the sacraments and Anglican liturgy who’s at ease with our parish’s distinctive mix of high and low church.

The ideal rector will be a leader who can communicate vision, identify and empower lay leadership and volunteers, and minister with adaptable empathy in our neighborhood and city. A patient teacher who will guide us into a deeper knowledge of Christ. A shepherd who will nurture in us an abiding love for one another. A steady pastor who forms believers through prayer, small groups, service, and catechesis. A gracious witness who will empower us to be a conduit of God’s perfect love in our homes, our church, our community, and the world.

Applicants should be ordained (or eligible for ordination) in the ACNA, with prior experience in a church leadership role.

Church of the Resurrection is in the Highland Park neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles. It’s a community of believers eager to begin the next season of our church’s life together, and grow into Christ’s call for us.
