Children's Ministry Intern

Southwood Presbyterian Church is presently seeking applicants for two full-time summer internships - one male, one female - in Children’s Ministry with a primary focus on 4th/5th grade.  This internship is designed to be filled by an individual exploring questions of vocation and seeking discernment with regard to God’s calling for their lives. Ideal applicants must have completed a minimum of freshman year in college; however, graduating high school seniors will be considered based on leadership skills and other qualifications.

Internships will span approximately 12 weeks from May through August. Specific start and end dates are negotiable depending upon academic schedules and other factors. Compensation provided.  Help to provide housing will be determined during interview process.

Job Duties included, but are not limited to, Contact/Relational Work with Kids (birth-5th grade) and Families, Preparation/Planning Events, Teaching, Administrative Work, Weekly Worship Attendance, Personal Development, Staff Meetings, etc.
