Summer Camp Staff

Camp Luther hires approximately twenty staff members for our summer team. We are primarily seeking cabin counselors - supervising our youth campers and leading activities. We also have positions for a head cook, camp nurse, media tech, lifeguards, and maintenance or kitchen assistance.

Essential skills include the ability to work with and care for children. Many of our applicants are future teachers or youth workers, so applicants with a willingness to learn are also considered. 

Specific skills include group management and leading activities such as Bible Studies, hikes, outdoor skills, active outdoor/indoor games, crafts and/or music. Training is provided, and responsibilities are divided among team members based on their specific skills and interest areas. Certain roles may require additional skills or training (medic, kitchen, media, etc.).
